Steel support bars clip onto the shelving beams to provide additional support for chipboard shelves.  They are essential if you need the shelves to support the maximum weight the beams are designed to hold.  They should be placed a maximum of 500mm apart.

• 950mm, 1150mm, 1350mm and 1500mm wide shelves – 2 support bars.
• 1850mm wide shelves – 3 support bars.
• 2250mm and 2400mm wide shelves – 4 support bars.
• 2700mm wide shelves – 5 support bars.
