What is Longspan Shelving?

Longspan Shelving is the perfect solution for the storage of small to medium-sized non-palletised products, making it ideal for organising and accessing hand-picked items. It works in the same way as pallet racking and looks very similar with frames and beams, the only significant difference is the chipboard shelving that sits between the beams.

Our AR QuickSpan shelving is extremely versatile and comes in a variety of sizes. We offer frame heights from 2000mm to 5000mm with a wide range of bays and shelf depths. Beams range from 950mm to 2700mm and can accommodate heavy loading capacities.

Our longspan shelving can be customised to meet your business needs by choosing from a selection of shelving options. You can choose from chipboard, mesh, or steel decking individually or a combination to meet your specific business requirements.

This shelving is versatile and comes with a variety of accessories to suit any businesses storage needs: such as dividers, garment hanging rails and much more.

Our new longspan racking is one of the most popular products we sell, due to the price, quality and versatility of this hand loaded shelving system. The range of sizes of the upright frames and horizontal beams means that we can find a solution for your heavy duty shelving requirements, whether you need a couple of bays for a small storage area or a full high density picking area for your warehouse.

The dimensions of this shelving system can be tailored to suit the sizes of your stock and to fit in a specific space. The height of each shelving level can be adjusted in 50mm increments, meaning that no space should be wasted. This also gives the flexibility to put the first shelf at a higher level, allowing for pallet storage on the floor underneath.

The longspan shelving that we have in stock is made by AR Systems, but if you need a specific make to match your existing warehouse storage system, please let us know and we can provide you with a quote. Dexion, Link 51, Apex and PSS all have their own hand loaded shelving systems and unfortunately none of them are compatible with each other.

Our new hand loaded industrial shelving is one of the most popular products we sell, due to the price, quality and versatility of this heavy duty shelving system. The range of sizes of the upright frames and horizontal beams means that we can find a solution for your longspan racking needs, whether you need a couple of bays for a small storage area or a full high density picking area for your warehouse.

Our longspan shelving is supplied with 18mm chipboard decking as standard, and includes support bars to ensure that weight loads in excess of 500kg UDL per level can be achieved. We also have galvanised, dropover steel shelving if required for areas such as food storage.

This industrial shelving system is in stock now and can be delivered to any UK mainland address quickly. We have deliveries going to North London, Bradford, Manchester and Bristol in the next couple of week, so if you are close to these areas give us a call now and we will do our best to fit you in.
