If you need heavy duty industrial shelving we have a range of options that we are sure will meet your requirements. Our AR longspan shelving comes in a huge variety of sizes and is available for quick dispatch, usually just 2-3 working days. This strong and versatile hand loaded shelving system uses chipboard decking and support bars to take a minimum of 430kg (Uniformly Distributed Load) per shelf. Just let us know the dimensions of the area you have available, and what you are storing, and we will help you to make the most of your warehouse storage space. We can also supply steel shelves and garment rails for this shelving system.

Heavy duty warehouse shelving, or longspan shelving as it is often known, is a scaled down version of pallet racking used for storing non-palletised goods. It has the upright frames and horizontal beams of pallet racking, but the beams are a z-profile to support a chipboard shelf.

We have large quantities of our QuickSpan shelving system in stock, available for fast dispatch in a wide range of sizes.

The upright frames are 2000mm to 5000mm and can be braced at depths from 400mm to 1200mm. All frames are supplied assembled, with footplates attached and including fixing bolts and shims.

Beams come in sizes from 950mm to 2700mm and are supplied with beam locks. We have chipboard decks and support bars to suit all sizes of shelving. Dropover steel shelves are also available for this shelving system.

The beam height can be adjusted every 50mm on the frames and the load capacity is up to 1075kg UDL per shelf. This makes for a very versatile and fully adjustable hand loaded shelving system suitable for all warehouse and industrial environments. We’re happy to have got through another challenging year unscathed, with used pallet racking once again proving to be our most successful range of products. Sales of Dexion, Apex, Link 51, Redirack and PSS have been strong and the stock in our warehouse suggests that we are well set up for the New Year.

Our heavy duty shelving system is always extremely popular due to its strength, versatility, ease of assembly and availability. We have huge quantities in stock which means we can dispatch orders in as little as 2-3 working days.

Upright frames are available from 2000mm – 5000mm high and 400mm – 1200mm deep, with horizontal beams ranging from 950mm to 2700mm in length. With this range of sizes we can accommodate all types of hand loaded storage items, with shelving suitable for everywhere from a small garage to a full scale distribution centre. Shelves have a load capacity of 430kg – 1075kg UDL, depending on the beam length, and we can supply both chipboard (with support bars) and steel shelves to suit. These versatile shelving units are ideal for archive storage, but can also be used for tyre racking.

All frames are supplied assembled, with fixing bolts and levelling plates included as standard. Two beam locks are included with every beam.

Hand loaded shelving comes in a wide range of sizes, duties and materials and we can help you to find the right one for your warehouse storage requirements.

Longspan shelving is a scaled down version of pallet racking and has specially profiled beams to accommodate a chipboard deck. We have upright frames in stock which can be 2000mm to 5000mm high and 400mm to 1200mm deep, the beams range from 950mm to 2700mm in length. This shelving system can be made into multi-bay runs with shelving levels that are adjustable every 50mm on the frames. The loading capacity of this heavy duty shelving can is from 430kg – 1075kg UDL per shelf, depending on the length of the beams. All items are in stock and can usually be ready for dispatch in 3-5 working days.

The wide range of sizes and configurations in this hand loaded shelving system means that it can be adapted to suit most warehouse storage areas. We are happy to help you plan a layout that will make the most of the space that you have available and suit the stock that you will be storing on it. Standard shelves are chipboard with support bars, but we also stock dropover steel shelves which may be more appropriate for storing food items or for easy cleaning.

Our steel shelving is a medium duty system and is available in a wide range of widths and depths. This shelving bay is 1830mm high with 6 shelves as standard, with 2130mm and 2430mm high options also available. It has a maximum shelf loading of 100kg UDL and bay loading of 600kg (dependent on specification). Bays can also be fully clad, with door and frame sets available for added security. Shelves can be raised or lowered by 25mm increments, making this system extremely versatile.

Our new longspan racking is one of the most popular products we sell, due to the price, quality and versatility of this hand loaded shelving system. The range of sizes of the upright frames and horizontal beams means that we can find a solution for your heavy duty shelving requirements, whether you need a couple of bays for a small storage area or a full high density picking area for your warehouse.

The dimensions of this shelving system can be tailored to suit the sizes of your stock and to fit in a specific space. The height of each shelving level can be adjusted in 50mm increments, meaning that no space should be wasted. This also gives the flexibility to put the first shelf at a higher level, allowing for pallet storage on the floor underneath.

The longspan shelving that we have in stock is made by AR Systems, but if you need a specific make to match your existing warehouse storage system, please let us know and we can provide you with a quote. Dexion, Link 51, Apex and PSS all have their own hand loaded shelving systems and unfortunately none of them are compatible with each other.
