Heavy duty shelving units are always a big seller for us, due to the strength and versatility of our range of longspan shelving. Upright frames start at 2000mm high, but can be supplied as high as 5000mm, for which we can also supply warehouse safety steps. The depth of this shelving system ranges from 400mm to 1200mm and this means we can provide storage which best suits the size of the product or box, or which can be loaded from both sides. There are eight different beam sizes for our longspan shelving (950mm -2700mm), so we can work out the best possible configuration to fit the space you have allocated. Each shelving level can take  from 430kg – 1075kg (depending on the beam length) as a uniformly distributed load and the load capacity of each bay can be up to 7500kg.

Each shelving level is supplied with a chipboard deck, with the correct number of support bars to achieve the stated load capacity. If you would prefer a steel shelf we also have these in stock for 600mm, 800mm 900mm and 1200mm deep bays. This type of longspan shelving can also be supplied without a shelf for use as tyre racking.

The upright frames are supplied assembled, with footplates attached and including levelling plates and fixing bolts. All beams are supplied with two beam locks as standard.
