They had attached a plan of the warehouse racking that they were looking for and asked for a price for both new and used pallet racking. We provided them with quotes for all materials (10 runs of 6 bays of racking, each with 4 beam levels) in used Link 51 racking and new AR racking, along with column guards and pallet support bars for all bays. Heavy duty industrial shelving is a great way to store boxes or loose items of stock without the need for wide aisles to accommodate forklifts or reach trucks. If you are creating a picking area or you have heavy items that aren’t palletised then we can find a great solution to suit your requirements.

Our longspan shelving is a highly versatile and very strong system that is suitable for almost any storage environment. Longspan is like a scaled down version of pallet racking, with the same upright frames and horizontal beams. However, the beams have a Z profile (unlike the box section of pallet racking beams) so that a chipboard deck sits securely between them, with support bars to add strength and rigidity. If you need a metal shelf, we can supply dropover steel panels, ideal for food storage areas or where regular cleaning is required.

The upright frames are available in depths of 400mm to 1200mm and in heights up to 5 metres. They are always supplied assembled, with footplates attached and including levelling plates and fixing bolts. Beam sizes range from 950mm to 2700mm, with load capacities in excess of 400kg UDL per level for all sizes. All of this means that whatever hand loaded items you need to store, we can find a configuration that will work for your storage area.
