For non-palletised items, we can supply longspan shelving, a heavy duty system that works in much the same way as pallet racking, with upright frames and horizontal beams. Longspan beams have a z profile (rather than the box section of racking beams), so that a chipboard deck will sit securely between them, and with support bars under the chipboard they can take well in excess of 500kg per shelf for almost all beam sizes. This robust and versatile system is available in a wide range of sizes, so we can help you find the best layout to make full use of the space you have for storage of your stock.

Cantilever racking provides an effective way to store long materials such as pipes, rods, structural sections, profiles, timber and flat sheets such as  chipboard. We offer off the shelf solutions for single or double-sided cantilever storage for long but lightweight items. Column guards and rack end barriers are essential to help prevent costly damage to your pallet racking frames from forklift trucks. We have these ready for quick dispatch and all are supplied with fixing bolts as standard.

Small items, such as fixing bolts, beam locks, levelling plates (shims) and splice kits can be sent out by courier, often for next day delivery. Please make sure you know the manufacturer of your racking before ordering, you can find some guidance on our identify my racking page. If you still aren’t sure, send us a photo of the warehouse racking you have and we can usually let you know what you have.

Decking can be used on your pallet racking either as a support for pallets or to create a shelf for hand loaded storage. Our warehouses are always full of quality used industrial storage equipment and while we will always have the leading manufacturers, such as Dexion, Link 51, Apex and Redirack in stock, specific beam sizes can come and go. Therefore, if you need used pallet racking beams in a particular system and size, it is advisable to give us a call on 0800 612 3210 to check availability.

All frame heights are usually in stock because we tend to buy frames at 8, 9 or 10 metres high which can then be cut to exact height depending on customer requests. We can also splice smaller frames together to create taller frames when required. This actually strengthens the frame and usually doesn’t affect where beam levels can be located. We keep bracing for standard 900mm and 1100mm frame depths in stock, but we can often make bracing for bespoke sizes on request. Again, if you need a specific manufacturer it is worth getting in touch to check current stock.
